About Mount Olivet
Since 1995, Mount Olivet Adult Day Services program has served hundreds of adults seeking therapeutic activity, socialization, health monitoring, and educational enrichment. Licensed by the Department of Human Services for 35 adults per day, we serve primarily seniors and others age 18 and older. The adult day program is open Monday through Friday from 7:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. Daily participation can vary but a consistent schedule is preferred.
Transportation if necessary, can be arranged through our van service or Metro Mobility.
Each day a hearty noon meal and several snacks are served. Special diets are available.
Participants are provided may opportunities for creative, intellectual, and physical development. Our days are filled with exercise, music, discussions, craft projects, baking activities, entertainment, spiritual services, and pet visits, as well as frequent excursions throughout the metro area.
Program participants are involved in the development of the activity/programming calendar.
Health monitoring and medication assistance is provided, both by a trained medication aide and registered nurse. Hair and beauty shop services can be arranged, as well as whirlpool bathing with support from an experienced bath aide.
Please call for full and half day rates. Financial assistance for those who qualify is available from Hennepin County and the Veteran’s Administration. Adult Day Service Programs are also eligible for coverage under most Long Term Care Insurance policies.
A free informational home visit or an on-site visit and lunch is available by appointment.
